M.Age.Project releases new organic house EP on Baikal Nomads, “Lucid State Dimensions”

m.age.project

Releasing a spellbinding downtempo/organic house release via Baikal Nomads, m.age.project’s EP titled Lucid State Dimensions includes three original tracks and remixes by Oondza, Barda, and Beatfarmer.

All of the music on the release has a mesmerising downtempo groove with trippy atmosphere and melodic pads. There are splashes of live instruments that add organic tones to complement the electronic drums and synthesiser sounds.

m.age.project is an exciting producer from Hannover in Germany, and he had a background as a jazz musician before translating his musician skills to electronic music. He has previously released music through Baikal Nomads, but this is the first release on the label where he is the solo original artist.

On remix duties, Oondza are a Canadian duo, and Beatfarmer is also a Canadian artist. Barda is an Argentinian artist who completes the package, and collectively, the remix artists have featured their music on labels such as Merkaba Music, 3000 Grad Records, down., Shango Records, and many others.

All three of the original tracks follow a similar formula, “Lucid State Dimensions” has whirling synths and harp strums that lift it into the stratosphere. “Benevolence” has a chugging groove with an indie dance influence, and “Psycelium” has delicate melodies that soar above the clouds.

Beatfarmer’s remix of “Lucid State Dimensions” has a new bassline with pulsating energy that increases its dance floor appeal. Barda also remixes “Lucid State Dimensions,” but they take a different approach, adding trumpets and guitar licks that give it a more laidback vibe. Oondza’s remix of “Benevolence” uses acid synths and tense pads to deliver a smouldering version that is full of suspense.
