Romanian DJ and producer Bross returns to the spotlight with a new deep house release titled Nocturna, out on June 13 via his own imprint, Trubadour Records. Known for his warm, melodic sound and emotive storytelling, Bross delivers a track that captures the essence of summer — blending deep grooves with a patient, atmospheric build-up.
Nocturna is available now for preorder on Beatport and is already gaining support from melodic selectors around the world.
This new release marks Bross’ comeback to the melodic side of deep house, after exploring more stripped-down and organic sounds in recent years. Inspired by the long-form, emotional sets from Lee Burridge and Matthew Dekay at BPM Festival, Nocturna builds slowly, layering textures and harmonies that work equally well under the stars or in a sunny outdoor setting.
“It started from a simple loop,” says Bross. “I wanted to create something timeless — something that grows with emotion and creates a journey. Nocturna reflects the freedom and energy I feel when playing long outdoor sets.”
The track features a long, hypnotic intro, deep basslines, and melodic phrasing that opens up into a groove designed for late sets, sunrise sessions, or afternoon rooftops. It’s a versatile deep house weapon that’s both subtle and powerful, fitting perfectly into Bross’s signature sound.
As a resident DJ at Nook Club in Bucharest and co-founder of Deep House Bucharest, Bross has played a key role in shaping Romania’s house music scene. His recent release on Satya and consistent bookings alongside international and local talent reflect his growing influence in the melodic deep house world.
