More than fifty years after its release, Manu Dibango’s “Soul Makossa” returns to the dancefloor through Bob Sinclar. Long inspired by African music, funk and percussion, the French producer extends its groove without losing its soul: the iconic saxophone, percussion and Afro-funk energy remain front and center. A return to the source of a classic whose famous refrain travelled from Michael Jackson to Rihanna.
