October Soundtrack – 10 tracks you should listen

While autumn makes its presence felt, what better way to enjoy it than with the right music in your ears?  Here you can find a selection of tracks that we consider true delights for sweater weather

  1. LØC & Innsæi – A Winter In Kyoto [Sag & Tre]

The duo first enrich coldest souls with “Forests” before taking a plunge in the emotional waterfall of “A Winter In Kyoto”. While “Forests” sits on a chunky baseline, “A Winter In Kyoto” is carried by gorgeous strings and long atmospheric washed-away voices.

2. Ferher – Unity {Erdi Irmak X Noom Reinterpretation} Stripped Digital

For his second release on Stripped Digital “Unity EP” is the follow up to his “Elevate” / “The Reason” release earlier in the year. The EP consists of three tracks, the title track accompanied by a collaborative remix from Erdi Irmak and a new face Noom making his debut.

3. Powel – Elomea (ADID)

Powel returns to All Day I Dream with an EP that perfectly encapsulates the label’s emotive sound.

Beautiful and dreamy journeys to close your eyes to and float. Ever the perfectionist Powel’s tracks have been heard at the events in various revised forms until, finally, he was happy. That makes us happy too.

4. Wuachuma – Beyond the mountains & the sea (Saisons)

Montreal artist Wuachuma follows up an appearance on Lee Burridge & Hoj’s Tale & Tone imprint this past Summer with ‘Beyond The Mountains & The Sea’, the second ever release on Kora‘s recently launched Saisons imprint.

5. Lost Desert – Ipanema (Shanti Moscow Radio)

Lost Desert returns with another magical EP for Shanti Moscow. With 4 original tracks and a dub version for Wisseling Things, LD’s way of composing music, makes us to believe there are no rules in the creativity field.

6. Bross – Miraviglia (Adrien Ro Remix) [Magician on Duty]

Adrien who made his debut on Magician On Duty with the ‘Imagination’ EP from February of this year takes ‘Miraviglia’ into sleeker more refined territory with a tight, rhythmic framework complete with muted bongos and waves of meditative percussion.

7. Jacob Groening – Fask (Gab RHome 12”RMX) Vinyl Only [Earthly Delights]

Jacob comes through with a very special 3 track EP featuring his unique sound that he masterfully integrates into his live shows.

Joining the release is a Canadian smooth vibes operator, Gab Rhome, who delivers a minimal melodic house vinyl only version that’s perfect to have on a 12”.

8. Djuma Soundsystem & Westerby – Sagiaro (Sobek remix) [Sol Selectas]

Sabo’s and his label Sol Selectas returns after its summer holiday with a stunning new EP from Djuma Soundsystem, who has collaborated on one of the tracks with Westerby and other with Australian artist Western. Both Djuma Soundsystem and Westerby are from Copenhagen and have previously made numerous collaborations on the Get Physical label and Chapter 24 Records.

9. Matthias Meyer & Ryan Davis – Love Letters From Sicily [Watergate]

Matthias Meyer and Ryan Davis come together again to deliver the stunning ‘Love Letters From Sicily’ where infectious organic grooves pave the way for a flourishing well of emotions in the form of lush pads and shimmering sonics that unfold into a tale of epic cinematic proportions. From start to finish it’s a intimate piece of aural imagery, yet the duo always keep a keen percussive focus making it ideal for any dancefloor moment.

10. Amonita – Orchid [Akbal Music]

She has been making dreamy waves in the Deep House area recently releasing music on Shanti Radio Moscow label owned by Gorje Hewek & Izhevski and also her music has been supported by Lost Desert and Lee Burridge. She is back this time on Akbal Music by bringing 3 original cuts full of energy, vibes, dreams and beautiful melodies, surrounded by elegant grooves and an amazing flow. To finish the EP there’s a downtempo remix by Newbo to chill things down and close the EP with a lovely magic touch.

Hope you Guys enjoyed the selection and if you have other suggestions, do not hesitate to write us at deephousebucharest@gmail.com
