Plasmatique is a rising star of the melodic house/techno scene, and her epic new release is a single called “Resurgence.”
Based in Slovakia, Plasmatique is a skilled producer whose sound is a fusion of dynamic percussion and invigorating synth lines. Her style has elements that are similar to others such as ARTBAT and Inella. Plasmatique’s new release comes via the luft&liebe record label that she frequents regularly, but her back catalogue also includes other respected record labels such as Harthouse.
Resurgence opens with the pulsating rhythm of the bassline and flowing energy of the hi-hats, which surround the sweeping synths as the track starts to build momentum. The first short breakdown section introduces the uplifting melody chords, and the track reaches a crescendo in the main breakdown section before the drums hit back in.
It’s an epic roller-coaster ride that builds momentum with a series of peaks and troughs that keep the listener locked in from start to finish.
