“Emerald” is essentially a progressive co-production of John Digweed and Nick Muir. The track had been launched on vinyl in 2002 on Bedrock label and 7 years later got its first digital release. Back then, artists such as Henry Saiz, Charlie May or Filterheadz also chose to give their interpretation of the track.
Well, in 2014 John Digweed spotted BOg’s gift for music production during Burn Residency 2014 contest in Ibiza and scouted him for his Bedrock team. BOg won the remix challenge during his time in Burn Residency Bootcamp and Digweed immediately took him under his wing. Soon enough, BOg has been also been invited to mix for the 542nd edition of Digweed’s famous Transitions radioshow.
Digweed has always been highly recognized in the electronic music industry as a great mentor and talent shaper, so he thought BOg would be ideal to bring a new vibe to his “Emerald”. And it has been the perfect fit, as Nick Warren and Digweed constantly drop BOg’s remix in their sets lately.
